Pamelina commemorated the historic election of Barack Obama with the painting of this Gibson guitar. She chose this model for its inlaid globe on the headstock. 50% of the profit was donated through the Clinton Global Foundation to doc to dock, an organization that brings much needed medical supplies to Africa.
The guitar was purchased by a man in Botswana, completing the global journey of this global presidential guitar.

Pamelina H. has painted portraits of some of the world's best-known people on guitars. There are celebrities from politics, sports, tv, film and business. In a lot of the cases, the celebrities were involved in the auctioning of the guitars for charity.
The guitar was auctioned on March 2, 2009 in conjunction with the Lakers 19th Celebrity Golf Invitational to benefit the Lakers Youth Foundation.
It was signed by the entire team, who went on to win the championship.
Fender generously doanted the guitar, Pat Wilkins donated the clearcoat and Mike Lipe donated his luthier skills.

The chrome hardware was replaced with gold hardware and a special engraved neckplate commemorating the Lakers 60th Anniversary was made. It was painted using Liquitex acrylics.
Pamelina was commissioned by Charter Communications to create this special guitar for Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, for a birthday gift. Pamelina painted the company's logo on a '57 Strat reproduction. Shown here is the Photoshop sketch.
